Why SDA?

At Starstruck Dance Academy we support and nurture the love and joy of dance! We believe that life lessons are learned at the studio and that dance is an important part of a child’s full educational experience. At our studio we provide quality education through a team of professional teachers who are committed to inspire, train, and develop students of all ages and abilities.

We also put on an amazing year-end show in which dancers will perform routines for their family and friends. It is the perfect way for students to showcase what they have learned over the year. It is the high point of the dance year and what children spend months looking forward to. The kids get to see the other classes, and the younger dancers get to see what they can aspire to as they grow older and continue to practice and work hard. It is great to be part of such a wonderful experience for the children and will create lasting memories. We have a lot of experience in directing recitals and are very organized. Our recitals truly are a production with a theme and all of the routines are an integral part of that theme. We choose beautiful, high quality costumes, and the show takes place at the beautiful Stockton Performing Arts Center. We have special techniques designed to eliminate stage freight and make dancers comfortable on stage. Performing in a supportive setting helps dancers build self esteem.
